What they have to say about the
Justin Wilson, No. 22 Z-Line Designs: “I’m looking forward to the race.
Hopefully we won’t have any mistakes. We just need to keep our heads down and
keep moving forward. The plan is to try and not make something happen and to
let the race unfold. In those last few laps of the race we can hopefully attack
from that point on.”
Tomas Scheckter, No.23 Mona Vie: “We felt that we had
a better race car than qualifying car and that showed today. We have a long day
on Sunday, but everyone at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing has done a great job. All of my sponsors, Mona Vie, Laverstoke and all of our associate sponsors have been working hard, so it should be a
good race.”
Mike Conway, No. 24 Dad’s Root Beer: “I’m really looking forward to the race.
It’s going to be a long day. Nice and hot. We are going to have to make sure
that the cars are right and for the last part of the race. We seemed to get the
car pretty dialed in today and we just need to make a few minor adjustments and
I think we will be okay.”
Ana Beatriz, No. 25 Ipiranga: “So far I’m pretty
relaxed going into the race. Today we talked about the race set-up and what we
should do. I’m really happy because I was able to run with traffic and I could
simulate how the race was going to be. With 33 drivers out there it was kind of
crazy, but I definitely learned some things from it. I think we might make a
few changes for the race, but I feel very comfortable out there and I think we
are in good shape.”
